Stage by Stage

What Happens at Each Step

1. Requirement analysis

You send the target model, quantity, target market and customization list. We review technical feasibility, certification coverage and cost drivers, then return a written quotation and project plan within 24 hours.

2. Design

Industrial and mechanical design, electrical design and the firmware plan are produced by our in-house team of 5-10 engineers, together with the companion-app scope.

3. Prototyping

Sample builds are assembled and validated — function, firmware, app pairing and measurement behaviour. You evaluate 1-2 units before committing to a production run.

4. Tooling

Mold opening where a new enclosure is needed, followed by a pilot run that proves the line before volume production. This is the stage that separates ODM from OEM.

5. Mass production

Assembly and calibration with the full QC chain: IQC (AQL incoming inspection), IPQC (in-process checks), reliability-lab testing and OQC (finished-goods audit). Serial-level records are kept per batch.

6. Delivery and after-sales

Retail packaging, manuals and accessories to your brand guidelines, then express, air or sea freight from Shenzhen — on your account or arranged by us. 12-month warranty, spare-parts support and DOA replacement.

OEM or ODM

Which Route Fits Your Programme?

OEM — you take an existing Aiullain model and brand it: logo printing or engraving, watch face UI, app name and splash screen, retail packaging. MOQ 500 units per model, lead time 7-15 days, proven hardware and low risk.

ODM — our R&D team develops a new model around your specification: custom hardware, firmware and companion-app features. Typically about 30 days, quoted per project, with exclusivity terms available in the contract.

Most brands start with OEM to validate the market, then move to ODM for the second generation.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I start an OEM or ODM project with Aiullain?

Send your target model, quantity and customization list via WhatsApp +86 181 1876 8901 or aiullain@aiullain.com. The six steps are: requirement analysis and feasibility review, ID/MD and electrical/firmware design, prototyping and engineering validation, tooling and pilot production, mass production with the full QC chain, then packaging, logistics and after-sales. You receive a written quotation and project plan within 24 hours.

What is the difference between OEM and ODM?

OEM means branding an existing Aiullain model with your logo, watch face UI, app name and retail packaging: MOQ 500 units per model, lead time 7-15 days, proven hardware. ODM means our R&D team develops a new model around your specification, typically in about 30 days and quoted per project.

Can you customize the logo, watch face UI, app and packaging?

Yes. Full OEM customization covers logo printing or engraving, watch face UI, app name and splash screen, and retail packaging and box design. ODM adds custom hardware, firmware and app features.

Can we sign an NDA before sharing our design?

Yes. We routinely work with brand owners under a mutual NDA before specifications are shared, and treat your brand, industrial design, packaging artwork and firmware requirements as confidential. Model exclusivity can be agreed in the ODM contract.

Can we visit the factory?

Yes. The factory and R&D team are at 3/F Ai Shi Dai, No.18 Hengnan Road, Gushu, Xixiang Town, Bao'an District, Shenzhen. You are welcome to visit in person, or we can arrange a live video tour of the production lines and QC process before you order.

What quality control runs before shipment?

IQC (incoming material inspection against AQL standards), IPQC (in-process checks at assembly and calibration stations), reliability-lab testing (drop, waterproof, temperature cycling, battery life) and OQC (finished-goods audit before packing), with serial-level records for every batch.

Can we get SDK or API access for our own app?

For ODM projects our in-house R&D team of 5-10 engineers can provide firmware customization, custom watch faces and companion-app branding, and can discuss SDK or API access. Scope depends on the model and order volume — please confirm with our engineering team.

What is the warranty and after-sales policy?

12-month warranty, with spare-parts support and replacement for dead-on-arrival (DOA) units on bulk orders. After-sales inquiries are answered within 24 hours.
